Training Programs CFESA Training Programs: Electric-Gas-Steam, Refrigeration, Management. Some updated information has been posted including dates, times and locations as well as online registration and contact information. One main reason for our existence is to promote the highest standards of professional service in order to improve our members' businesses. Continuous education and training are top priorities in the foodservice industry. To help meet these needs, CFESA has developed extensive training programs for foodservice equipment technicians. Service technicians, who maintain equipment during the warranty period and service equipment after the warranty period, are the keys to continued sales for NAFEM member companies. These technicians are in the position, on a daily basis, to advise end user customers on proper use of equipment, preventative maintenance procedures and basic troubleshooting techniques. All technicians are taught customer service skills and, in many cases, develop relationships of trust based on these skills. CFESA provides the training and resources to help technicians properly repair the equipment of the manufacturers they represent. EGS and Refrigeration The CFESA Technician Training Programs cover the elements of gas, electric, steam and refrigeration repair and troubleshooting. These training classes are open to all technicians within the foodservice industry and are held throughout the year in various regional locations. Training is from entry-level to advanced. All technician training programs include classroom and hands-on education and testing on the ability to identify and correct problems on many types of commercial cooking equipment.
Management Training Management personnel, within the CFESA service agency, are responsible for “keeping operations moving.” That is, they are responsible for the tracking and sales of manufacturer’s parts, as well as service situations, which develop with the manufacturer’s equipment. The CFESA Management Training Class is a three-day classroom course specifically designed to assist managers in doing their jobs better.
As a representative of my company I understand that by completing and submitting this CFESA no Solicitation Tolerance Policy my company and all its employees agree that no solicitation of technicians or employees of any kind will take place before, during or after the training sessions. If this does happen all of my employees will no longer be eligible for CFESA Certification. |
