Austin or Bust!! EXECUTIVE

                                                                                               DIRECTOR’S
                                                                                               MESSAGE

The CFESA annual conference is fast approaching,
and we are gearing up for record breaking attendance.
The committees have been working hard since our last
conference and will be presenting a few new items during
the membership meeting. Conference attendees are
welcome to participate in any one of the four committee
meetings for a complete update on projects. If you are
interested in officially joining a committee, please speak
with one of the co-chairs for an application.

One of the membership benefits offered to CFESA
members is a profit planning survey. The survey is free
for members to participate in every three years, this
being the most recent study year. Mr. Albert Bates with
the Profit Planning Group will be providing an overview
of the association results allowing you to compare your
company results against the industry review. If you participated in the survey but
have not yet received your results, please contact me.

Bryan Dodge of Dodge Development and his team know that businesses are constantly
looking for better ways to run their operations, advance their bottom line and attract
great talent. He has designed a program just for CFESA members that will teach you
marketing strategies that your competitors aren’t utilizing; micromanagement and
what it costs your company; how to place talent in the right position, and the power
of relationships, just to mention a few.

Putting talent in the correct position is essential, finding the talent and keeping
your current team engaged is a task in its self. To help our members with this, we
have invited Jason Dorsey of The Center for Generational Kinetics to help with the
generational challenges our industry is facing. Long gone are the days of one standard
application for every position, and mass employment posting sites. He will help to
explain what working with a multi-generational workforce means and how it will
affect your company, you will not want to miss this session!

We are excited to be celebrating the 3rd bi-annual CFESA Awards during the second
night of the conference. Plan on joining us for a night of accolades, cocktails, and
          entertainment.

I look forward to seeing everyone in Austin and wish to thank our conference
          sponsors for their support!
