2017 Board of Directors Candidate

                                                                             Dan Dibeler
                                                                      K&D Factory Service

I grew up in this industry and I’m the third gener-
ation owner of my business. For ten years prior to
taking an active role in my family business, I was
a financial consultant for some of the largest in-
vestment firms in the country. I have a heavy back-
ground in economics and financial forecasting. Be-
cause of my time outside the industry I think I see
things within our industry from a different perspec-
tive than most. I think one of the hardest things we deal with is change and the
phrase “because we have always done it that way” is probably one of the most det-

rimental things to business. I have never been afraid to speak my mind. During my
time on the CFESA board I have tried to be a huge proponent of change, as well as
identify areas we need to address to keep our Industries and our companies moving
              in the right direction.

Question 1: What prompted you to run for CFESA’s Board of Directors? Through-
out my life I have never been a wall flower or a silent member of any organization
I have been a part of. If I am active in something I have always gone “all-in” with

my participation. Being 39 now (37 when I was first elected) I felt I could bring
              some young blood to the board.  Coming originally from the outside of the industry;
though I did grow up in it’ I though a could bring a different perspective and make
positive change to how we operate.

Question 2: What skill sets do you have that would benefit the association if
you were elected to the Board of Directors? I have a background in finance and
very highly adept to mathematics. During my time on the board I have been able
to point out some areas that need addressed not only with in CFESA’s structure but
within our individual companies that will make us more successful. I am also very
passionate and vocal about what is going on in the industry today. Any one who’s
attended any industry meeting with me will know this. I am not afraid to speak my

mind and say thing others may not.
