This course runs Monday–Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. CFESA’s upcoming Fryer Repair Training is an opportunity for technicians to learn the fundamentals of how this equipment works and specific troubleshooting on four of the most common brands. This training session will consist of five consecutive one-day training classes, each led by factory trainers from each of the respective brands.  All equipment will be connected to the proper utilizes so the equipment can run and operate just as it would in a customer’s facility.  Each manufacturer will cover installation and set-up, proper operation and programming of the equipment, service troubleshooting, and maintenance.  Seats are limited to 10 students per class to ensure adequate time for Hands-on Training.

The skill level for participants attending this course should be mid-level to seasoned technicians. Entry-level technicians would not have the skill set needed to participate in this course.

This class is limited. Seats are not considered “reserved” until full payment has been received.

Requirements

  • Technicians must be familiar with electric and gas theory, and have a working knowledge of foodservice equipment. Again, Entry level technicians would not have the skill set needed to participate in this course.

Training Refund Policy Effective Jan. 1, 2017:

There will be no refunds issued for any CFESA training classes. If a company cannot send their participant to the course, 50% of the course registration fee will be automatically forfeited. The remaining 50% registration fee will be applied to a credit that may be utilized toward another class. The credit must be utilized within six months, or it will be automatically forfeited.
